Corporate Purchasing Officer
The Central Purchasing Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services for the company. This position reports directly to the Senior Management and will be an integral part of our Operations team.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure that the company obtains the best value for its purchases.
- Managing the procurement process, including identifying requirements, preparing bid documents, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure that purchasing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing transactions and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Analyzing purchasing data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Providing support to internal stakeholders on procurement-related matters.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in regulations and legislation, and advising on necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field from a reputable university with GPA of >2.9.
- 3+ years of proven track record and experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Age 26-38yo.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written in both ENG and IND) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, procedures, and systems.
- Experience with procurement software and tools.
